1) No slavery here in the U.S. where hundreds of thousands died to end it.
2) However our basic point is that pacifism would not have ended that awful aspect of our society.
3) Additionally its unlikely without 'war' we wouldn't now be discussing Emperor Adolph the 4th in Germany about now.
